The Pact

I would not be long for this dreary world

In the wind like leaves I have swung and whirled

My memories, the fog of horrible nightmare

Or nostalgic dreams whisper on the crisp air

A rising storm that never abated

Where names of gods are consecrated

A niche in a temple my grave will be

When I die, that is not the fate I foresee

Celestial pyre, burn my remains where I lay

Blaze like a meteor that guides the way

My long days of toil have finally ceased

My long-imprisoned soul is at last released

I stand among the noblest of men

Those who prophesied with wits and a pen

I have made my choice, time to act

Honor my vow and self-proclaimed pact

To the skies where mortals and Angels trod

Fulfill my pledge and unite with god

I battle death

 Every day I battle death

If I win, I write her a poem in remembrance

My world swayed and pitched

Darkness rolled over me

Engulfing my soul in bleakness

Like a felled bird with a broken wing I

 flew to your embrace

O 'Vain death

You are in every heartbeat

Every labored breath

Ragged breath escaped me

When our lips touched

Like fire

Warm in the perpetual chill

Of my broken heart

My pulse hammered

In my chest as

Your body melted into mine

In an embrace

A divine union

Of Fire and Ice

pain constricted my chest

a yawning chasm

and all was still

My spirit racing toward the stars

Thunder cracked in the sky

Announcing the end

Darkness had passed

No beat of a fierce and courageous heart

Now my spirit will roam among the stars

Fall

 When I fell

As a tired autumn leave

Your eyelashes caught me

softly

Mt fall was cushioned

by a spectrum of your light

And I sank in the eyeliner

Adorned with your eyes

Riding the waves of tears

Flowing on your rosy cheeks

Attracting me to your lips

I advance on an eternal journey

To the niche of your heart

And my sanctuary

from the pains of being lost

The monster of death

Dwelling in my heart

You are the summer

After a cold winter storm

You are the warmth

After the frost

A blooming rose

When Earth is parched

Adorning the universe

With the beam of your smile
