In iron bonds of anguish, I was held so tight,
My wings, once spread wide, now a prisoner's plight.
But a fire within, a spirit unbound,
I vowed to break free, to reclaim sky's crown.
With talons that trembled and feathers so torn,
I fought against the cage, though my body was worn.
Each strike, a rebellion, a desperate plea,
To soar once again and feel the wind's glee.
At last, a shattering moment, the bars gave way,
I burst forth with vigor, into the golden ray.
A wounded ascent, pain etched in flight,
Yet freedom was mine, in the fading light.
To the mountain's proud peak, I climbed to the sky,
Where the world met the heavens, where eagles could fly.
With every beat of my heart, I touched the divine,
A dance with the winds, a symphony so fine.
Though wounded and frail, my journey found end,
On the mountain's proud summit, my heart did transcend.
As twilight embraced me, my spirit took flight,
A silhouette 'gainst stars, a beacon of might.
In the arms of the mountain, I found my repose,
A chapter of courage, where the eagle-heart chose.
To break down the cage, to reclaim the sky,
To live as a legend, forever to fly.
