Ghost
In moonlight's soft embrace, I stand,
A spectral figure in this desolate land.
I linger here, a soul from days gone by
Bound to this earth, unable to reach the sky
With veiled heart, I whisper a tearful sigh,
To bid farewell to my love, goodbye
Fate, unkind, did tear us apart,
Death's icy grip broke my heart.
Leaving me in this spectral domain,
A ghostly wraith, still feeling the pain.
Invisible to all searching eyes,
A shadow where love never dies.
Through endless hours of endless night,
I watch over her, bathed in eerie light.
Whispering unheard words of love in the dark,
My spirit glowing, an eternal spark.
In this realm where time stands still,
I'll guard her against all ill.
Our love once lived, a vibrant earthly flame,
Now I'm but a shadow, without a name.
Through ethereal realm, I must now roam
No longer can call her heart my home
I'll linger in her thoughts, a gentle memory,
A specter's love, beyond life's boundary.
Though parted by fate's unrelenting tide,
From realms beyond, I'll stay by her side.
A ghostly sentinel through eternity,
For love transcends even mortality.
