Eclipse
A sacred union of Sun and Moon’s desire
I emerged, a creature with celestial fire
With wings of dawn and curls ablaze,
Pale skin of night in lunar phase.
A fiery heart, the universe could ignite,
A crucifix of flames, a sacred rite.
Stars reflected in my eyes of steel
Embers wield power to burn or heal
Chaos birthed stars, shrouding in night's cloak
Yet my flames alone the world evoke
Eternal path, the clock's rightful turn,
Amidst the dark, my light shall burn.
The prophecy foretold, my tumultuous birth
The cosmos gift to the lonely Earth
Accursed gods feared my sovereign might,
Thus, darkness claimed me in eternal night
Eclipse, my birth in shadows forever cast,
As the moon's embrace sealed my fate at last.
