Flameout (Perseus)

 Flameout

In skies above, where heroes sing and fly,

A pilot soared, embracing the sky

His majestic steed, took flight,

A winged ally, through day and night.

Perseus-like, his quest did start,

A winged horse, his soaring heart,

Navigating through the realms of air,

A pilot's journey, brave and rare.

But lo! An engine's flaming shout,

A Medusa-like flame, fearsome, stout,

His steed, it faltered, in mid-flight's drill

An engine's flameout, a test of skill.

With nerves of steel, he faced the plight,

Averted his gaze from the deadly light,

Like Perseus's shield, his skills did turn,

From engine's gaze, his soul did learn.

Through stormy winds and lightning's roar,

He charted paths, as heroes before,

A pilot's quest, a modern feat,

To conquer skies, and death to cheat

With deft control and daring flight,

He faced Medusa's daunting might,

A flameout’s challenge, his skill did seize,

Navigating skyward with calm and ease.

When he landed, a silent roar

A pilot's triumph, his wings to soar,

Resilient heart, through skies he wove,

A modern hero, in realms above.
