Savior

 Savior

In a cabin nestled midst snow-cloaked peaks,

Where winter's embrace paints the world in white,

I found solace in solitude, so to speak,

As cold winds whispered through the quiet night.

The fire's warm glow battled icy chills,

As heavy snow fell, blanketing all around,

'Twas then a scratching echoed through the hills,

A sound that in silence, so sharply resound.

A wounded soul sought refuge at my door,

A wolf, lost and hurt, in need of aid,

Compassion surged, heartstrings it tore,

Welcomed in, the foundation was laid.

With care and love, his wounds slowly healed,

A bond formed deep, amidst the winter's freeze,

In the solitude, our friendship revealed,

A tale etched in the forest's ancient trees.

Yet when the roads cleared, an intruder drew near,

A burglar's intent to steal, with firearm

But loyalty true, in the wolf's fierce leer,

A defender arose, shielding from harm

Fangs bared, a guardian stood by my side,

Snow and cold couldn't quell his resolve,

The burglar, met with a protector's stride,

Found refuge in fear from a wolf's resolve.

In winter's realm, where cold winds blow,

A tale was woven in the snow's deep crust,

Of friendship forged in the season's glow,

And courage shown in loyalty and trust.

He paid his precious life to protect mine

He became my Guardian; Heaven’s sign
