Veterans Day
Our uniforms folded, our memories held,
A legacy etched, in tales of valor dwelled.
On Veterans Day, a solemn salute we pay,
To heroes who've served, in a proud array.
No longer in ranks, but in our hearts steadfast,
We inspire the patriots with a legacy to cast.
Air force comrades in the sky's embrace,
We soared with courage, leaving no faltering trace.
A training ground echoes, AETC's pride,
Second to None, in service, side by side.
Not because we are better, we are called to be
Braver, stronger in our service’s decree
From air force academy, we fly to distant lands,
We served with honor, hearts in your hands.
Now, our uniforms tucked and set aside,
Our spirit endures, a seamless tide.
To Heavens embrace and camaraderie,
To a shared past, a resilient legacy.
In the quiet moments, reflections cascade,
The sacrifices we made, in the silent parade.
On this Veterans Day, gratitude resounds,
In the heart's echo, in patriotic bounds.
A nation thanks her veterans, with deep respect,
For the sacrifice given, the duty we’ve kept.
In the vast sky of freedom, our wings unfurl,
Airmen, veterans, pride of this world.
On Veterans Day, a tribute sincere,
For the bravery lived, for each fallen tear.
America’s legacy, Air Force's might,
We are the beacon of eternal light.
Taking care of airmen, a sacred creed,
In the hearts of the grateful, our valiant deeds
