Bucket list
With every heartbeat, my time draws near
Time to fulfill my dreams, conquer my fears
A list not of tasks, but comforting lore
I want to fulfill, I yearn to explore
My days of flight are long gone
My wings clipped before the blazing Sun
I soared high; experienced the Fall
Like Icarus, my wings faltered not my soul
I long for flight, to run with the wind
Pour my heart in the verses I penned
To see the northern lights before I die
To dance with the Eagles in the sky
A thousand verses, tales in heartfelt rhyme,
Each poem a story, capturing time.
Glide amidst the clouds, where dreams take flight,
A glider embracing the boundless height.
Cross all states, where American stories unfold,
In landscapes vast, with histories untold.
Witness Eagles soar, their majestic cry,
A symbol of freedom beneath the sky.
Run with the wolves, in nature's wild dance,
Echoes of freedom, a spirited chance.
Provide a haven, secure and warm,
For children dear, sheltered from the storm.
In these desires, life's quest beats strong
Each aspiration, an eternal song
May these aspirations, bright and pure,
Resound through time, forever endure.
