Lady of the Wolves

A wolf howls his ancient rune

My eternal love, lady of the moon

I hear your voice upon the storm

glance upon your ethereal form

With reverence as eager stars, as bright

As a desolate prey that fears the night

I long for the hunt under your flaming glow

To trudge deep and run free in the snow

The mountains soar before me in scorn

Of my love for you, desolate and forlorn

Down the valleys that gulp my soul

Shards piercing my heart, a gaping hole

That longs to mend by your glorious hand

The wolf cries his hunger throughout the land

For your touch, your lips, your embrace

My quivering heart is whole in your grace

Lady of the Wolves, goddess of the hunt

My bleak fate I must ultimately confront

The Pact

I would not be long for this dreary world

In the wind like leaves I have swung and whirled

My memories, the fog of horrible nightmare

Or nostalgic dreams whisper on the crisp air

A rising storm that never abated

Where names of gods are consecrated

A niche in a temple my grave will be

When I die, that is not the fate I foresee

Celestial pyre, burn my remains where I lay

Blaze like a meteor that guides the way

My long days of toil have finally ceased

My long-imprisoned soul is at last released

I stand among the noblest of men

Those who prophesied with wits and a pen

I have made my choice, time to act

Honor my vow and self-proclaimed pact

To the skies where mortals and Angels trod

Fulfill my pledge and unite with god

I battle death

 Every day I battle death

If I win, I write her a poem in remembrance

My world swayed and pitched

Darkness rolled over me

Engulfing my soul in bleakness

Like a felled bird with a broken wing I

 flew to your embrace

O 'Vain death

You are in every heartbeat

Every labored breath

Ragged breath escaped me

When our lips touched

Like fire

Warm in the perpetual chill

Of my broken heart

My pulse hammered

In my chest as

Your body melted into mine

In an embrace

A divine union

Of Fire and Ice

pain constricted my chest

a yawning chasm

and all was still

My spirit racing toward the stars

Thunder cracked in the sky

Announcing the end

Darkness had passed

No beat of a fierce and courageous heart

Now my spirit will roam among the stars

Fall

 When I fell

As a tired autumn leave

Your eyelashes caught me

softly

Mt fall was cushioned

by a spectrum of your light

And I sank in the eyeliner

Adorned with your eyes

Riding the waves of tears

Flowing on your rosy cheeks

Attracting me to your lips

I advance on an eternal journey

To the niche of your heart

And my sanctuary

from the pains of being lost

The monster of death

Dwelling in my heart

You are the summer

After a cold winter storm

You are the warmth

After the frost

A blooming rose

When Earth is parched

Adorning the universe

With the beam of your smile

I am Anubis

Glorious Anubis

The crowned Jackal of Death

I have willingly entered your realm

I call upon you to collect my soul

Lead the way to afterlife

So I may join the eternals

Rest in Osiris embrace

Free of suffering

Free of earthly burdens

Trials and tribulations

May pass under your fair judgment

Hear my prayer

O’ Glorious one

O’ Sacred Lord of Death

I will be reborn

In your image

Hestia

Crowned by flames

Firstborn of the Titans

Bestow your grace on my song

You who tend the hearth

Warm my freezing heart

pursued by the gods

You swore to remain a maiden

You preside over the sacrifice

Will you accept my offering?

libation of wine

First and last

Pour your sweet wine

unto my cold lips

In a sweet kiss Divine

Soft oil dripping from your golden locks

To stoke my flames

My desire

Sweet Hestia,

You who tend the fires in my heart

Come and dwell in my temple

Be my glorious goddess

I will worship you forever

Fires crackling between your fingers

Had scorched my heart

I pine for every kiss

Every touch

Our bodies entwined

Your flames coursing through my veins

Your love is my every heart beat

In every breath

I have walked this earth

Deathless

Forlorn

I will be the sacrifice you desire

Instead of the sacred wine

I will pour my blood

Until you are satisfied

Until you are maiden no more

Until the hearth in my heart

Is your eternal flame

Styx

The look in her eyes

Wild, even Feral

Intoxicating

Her name was a mystery

That covered the distance

A binding oath for eternity

Her hair was carved from the clouds

Fluttering in the morning sun

Like a bird Like a butterfly

The color of her lips was the rose

Against the desert sand

She is the spirit of a goddess

Incarnated

She is the mirage that keeps you thirsty

Until you reach the oasis of her lips

It is death Slow and agonizing

Thirst for a heavenly river

That flows from her eyes

Teardrops of magic

River Styx

The boundary between life and the underworld

I became stranded

When you dipped me in the river

To become invulnerable

Like Achilles

You were holding my heart

In your hands

It became my weakness

My death

Styx

I do not have the silver coin

To pay your ferryman Charon

To cross to the afterlife and beyond

Instead I will pay your toll

With my heart

Tear it from chest offer it to your ferryman

A token to be displayed at your temple

Your victory will be complete

 My fate, dismal

Styx

Accept my offering

The crimson jewel

Let me cross to your kingdom

Have mercy on my shattered soul

Paris had shot his arrows

Into my heart

And like Achilles

I will swim to be reborn

Only to love you again
