of eternal flame
God of Fire is my
venerable name
I am fire that cannot
be tamed
I am the light and
warmth revered
I am the wrath and
destruction feared
I am a Champion lauded
and cheered
I gave my fiery
essence to humankind
Defying the gods and
chains that bind
To eternal torment I
was confined
Eagles plucked my
heart from my chest
Made my grave into
their nest
To spend eternity in
pain and unrest
I am Prometheus, dead
ere my prime
My legend has endured
throughout time
