Knight

When darkness whispers softly to me

Powers of drowning thoughts gently be

Accursed shadow like foam of the sea

Binds me to death, my courage sets me free

My spirit immortal, no tomb can ever bind

The endless glory for which I have pined

Eyes with blood and tears rendered blind

Haunted with memories shall come unconfined

The gaping seasons around me scatter and run

Like an eagle that soars to the dazzling sun

I rise to glory, timeless my voyage has begun

To accomplish what no mortal before me has done

I kneel, I rise a Knight, with a sword and a bow

I strike at injustice, with might, a single blow

Transforms the darkness, the cold into a glow

I am part of the Eternal, which I must bestow

On whoever conquers the darkness, arise

Join my legions, soar toward the endless skies

Fate bows to me, my strength never wanes or dies

Tyrants, beware, I will herald your demise

I hold the spear, I am the dauntless knight

My rage against the flickers of your dying light

Outsoars the shadows, transforms the fading night

And that unrest which men miscall delight

I am the Hunter; I slay tyrants with no fear

I shoot my arrows, I plunge the spear

Tales of my glory spread loud and clear

Beware of my fury, your end is near
