Eclipse

Beast of fire
Burn the bridges and dance in their ashes
Your flame is flickering like a candle
Do not fall into the Darkness
Bear your burning Crucifix with pride
The scars on your chest are a sacred sign
The embers in your eyes can burn the world
And heal it at the same time
Chaos erupted into a million star
And covered the world in darkness
Only your light, your flames will change the world
Set the clock right
On the path of eternity
You are the divine prophecy,
Since earth was created,
You were the reflection of the sun on its beautiful face,
The accursed gods, terrified that you might take their place,
Made you an offering to darkness
From that day
Eclipse became your birth
And the moon cast its shadow forever.

I am Prometheus

Adorned with tongues of eternal flame

God of Fire is my venerable name

I am fire that cannot be tamed

I am the light and warmth revered

I am the wrath and destruction feared

I am a Champion lauded and cheered

I gave my fiery essence to humankind

Defying the gods and chains that bind

To eternal torment I was confined

Eagles plucked my heart from my chest

Made my grave into their nest

To spend eternity in pain and unrest

I am Prometheus, dead ere my prime

My legend has endured throughout time

Written in myth, stories and elegant rhyme

Death with Dignity

Romeo (Maxwell)
Ions had passed since the day we met
Though it was only a yesterday
The candle I lit has not extinguished yet
Though the wind had blown it away
My flames flicker ever weaker apart
From your sweet loving embrace
My soul longs to blissfully depart
Roaming around planets and space
To catch a Star that shined afar
To make the world in love with night
When you cut my heart into little stars
To adorn the face of heaven so bright
When I shall die, the garish sun
Will be jealous of my heavenly glow
You vowed that I am the only one
Your heart had worshiped ions ago
Love me still though am now a Star
Dead and buried in sweet scented Earth
My heart carried a million scar
The torment of your love was worth
The End was destined at my own hands
Freely I accept my fateful choice
I did what my dignity commands
Your objections will not silence my Voice
I chose to leave mortality behind
And soar high with angels divine
To my shattered heart to be kind
Free my soul from this feeble shrine

Forbidden Love

SHE
Away from him
I am like a ballerina rotating alone
Locked in her velvet music box
Dancing to the moonlight tune
ME
Away from her
I sit here in silence,
Just thinking of her
Holding my breath
For the next kiss
That will revive our tune
SHE
Away from him
I am suffocating with tears
Longing to reach out and touch him
When my hand touches the empty air
My hand falls
My heart breaks and dreams
That the next time I reach out
He will be there
To hold me
And we dance together
To the moonlight tune
ME
When I gaze into her eyes
I see the look of eternity there
When our lips meet
Tis the taste of heaven
SHE
Away from him
I am trapped
In this glass cage
It is a mirror
My lonely reflection
Is all I see
ME
Our love is a forbidden dream
Where a dream is a sin
Yet she dreams
Of me
Her blood is spilled
Because she loved Me

Child of Sin

Like a cherished Pale flower, he grew
Its petals were nipped before they blew
The trembling trees and songbirds knew
Winter was in the wind, on the morning dew

A child of love of a mortal who played with sin
With the goddess of love, cruel fates begin
A story of passion and death to slowly spin
A shattered rebellious soul caged within

Winter gave way to spring fresh and warm
When he was born, fashioned in a godlike form
Clouds burst; skies flashed into a raging storm
How did love into such betrayal transform

Treachery flung her arrows pierced his heart
Shattered by deep convulsions rent apart
Ere his time he lay broken, soul longing to depart
Fate had ordained his death from the start

The golden hair shall never turn grey
Untimely snatched when time brings decay
Flowers decked the cold stone where he lay
Resting in coffin on a cold wintery day

The songs are silent, hearts heavy and worn
Bereft eyes laden with tears, hopes forlorn
When gods and mortal his passing mourn
His body is ephemeral, his soul is forever reborn

Goddess of the Hunt

The Wolf and the Moon
Poison lurks beneath dark waters
Roses burn in a crimson slaughter
The forest is still songbirds are silent
Lions hunker down no longer violent
The trees tremble, the blades of grass
In heavy shadows twirl and pass
Distant hills rock and shudder
Like a ship without a ruder
The horses neigh and prance
Dryads around the fire dance
A youth by the beautiful nymphs lured
The wrath of the gods he secured
An arrow cleaved its stealthy way
Into his heart, with glazing eyes he lay
Ready to embrace death, he stood
On the shore of lake Diana of the Wood
He heard her voice upon the storm
Air gushed around him and took ethereal form
The graceful nymphs, the deer, and the hound
She appeared, her head with roses crowned
My Goddess, he said with a trembling voice
For your pain, I will give you a choice
She said and extended her graceful hand
Your death was not what I have planned
He accepted the hand with a smile
This how salvation will be after a while
I chose to turn into a Wolf and lead the pack
The goddess was stunned, taken aback
My heart longs for the eternal hunt
For my indiscretion I will bear the brunt
I am the goddess of the hunt, so mote it be
You will lead the pack for whole eternity
A hunter loyal, fierce, and proud
With fangs and claws to be endowed
My eternal love, I will join you soon
That is why I howl to the moon

Goddess of Love

The Sun smiled sweetly to the silent rain
It whispered in drops my cloud will remain
It stirred the grass with a youthful touch
A maiden beside the lagoon she loves so much
She sang to her companion, the paling Moon
Wildflowers swayed around her like undulating dune
It washed the meadow in silver light
Envied the Sun and replaced its might
The rain touched the maiden cheek
Like a tear drop on a snowy peak
Her beauty unrivalled by the majestic Sun
The shimmering lights around her spun
Nursing a bleeding heart I lay beside the lagoon
Hoping my death will not come so soon
I, the shepherd, who was maimed and gored
My heart was ripped by the god’s jealous sword
When her touch awakened my drifting mind
To sweet desires I had left behind
I gazed upon the maiden and surprisingly saw
The goddess of love in her beauty and awe
Aphrodite, my savior from the dim
Underworld
My wings fluttered wildly and unfurled
My Blood mingled with her tears to become a flower
Lamentations for the god of youth in his final hour
Garden sown with my seed to germinate eternal love
Aphrodite changed into a white ethereal dove
Together we flew above the clouds into a dream
The symbol of love pure as it seems
I the mortal gave my blood to revive
The myth of love to endure and survive
My death is a winter bleak and cold
Nature’s is wailing in misery foretold
When I return to nature, spring begins anew
The cycle of love and loss is what remains true

Goddess of the Sea

Breath of the gods blowing my ship
Ever forward on this fateful trip
Drifting along with the mighty wave
Rolling and tossing in a watery grave
What fate was mine, what horrible blow
My ship capsized, who decreed this woe
I gasp for air to fill my burning lung
To a statue bust I have wildly clung
Memories float in my drifting mind
I have this miraculous statue designed
Her face from my own heart I engraved
Embedded with ice and fire, I braved
The storm and battled the rising tide
Maybe it would be best if I had died
I felt a faint breath, the statue stirred
A vision flashed before my eyes blurred
Imbued with the spirit of the gods it spoke
Before it curled like a plume of smoke
Around me and swallowed my spirit whole
I am Death, she said, I want your soul
Gladly, take it and end this intolerable pain
In your depths I will drown, never to rise again

Phoenix

Eagle of majestic and sweeping wings
Beware of Death her arrows she flings
She is thirsty for your immortal blood
Her arrows fly like an overwhelming flood
Death has reaped the fruit of her deed
The Eagle’s heart began to bleed
His feathers bloodied with a fatal dart
He pulled the shaft from his quivering heart
He lay struck when the sun had set
Was Death weeping in awe and regret
He crawled into his weeping nest
That drank the blood of his bleeding chest
Where life once flourished is now a void
Youth and hope are now destroyed
His wings beat higher in glorious heaven
Where the tempest clouds are driven
A storm that soars high toward the sun
His spirit immortal, his breath is done
The tomb cannot bind his spirit no more
A reborn phoenix he will rise and soar
From ashes to light from the eternal dust
The wind around him whirled in a violent gust
The pyre is set ablaze by his fiery breath
In his presence there is no room for Death

Fallen Angel

My wings unfurl with the colors of pearls
In my arms she dances and twirls
Her dark hair dims the dying sun
Night is born when the day is done
The silvery moon shines through her eyes
Passion burns me to ashes in the skies
Scattered like little stars upon the wind
I am to your sacrificial altar pinned
You prepare my shroud with ultimate care
I want to struggle yet do not even dare
You tempt me to taste your lips divine
You may imprison me, my soul cannot confine
In your grip my heart is burning to a cinder
You used my body for your kindling tinder
You bestowed upon me your sweet embrace
Banished my soul without a shimmering trace
To my everlasting kingdom I flew unconfined
By your chains in no mortal form enshrined
A fallen Angel resting in a glorious tomb
Which cruel god had decreed my youthful doom?

Farewell to Ophelia

A maiden “Chaste as ice, pure as snow”
Whose lips had fire’s mystic glow
A flower drowned in a watery grave
Where daffodils and lilies wave
Her sweet body buried under misty dew
A reverie forlorn where wind never blew
She floats in my dreams like a water-lily leaf
I forbid my tears to fall I forbid my grief
Fiery words drowned by my anguished tears
Pain inside me that wounds and sears
Farewell Ophelia the sweet the pure
My heart can never your loss endure

Farewell to Hamlet

(Prince Maxwell)
Adieu, “Now cracks a noble heart”
Innocence and joy begin to depart
Like a Star wrenched from the sky
It was time for the Sweet Prince to die
Flights of Angels sing him to his eternal rest
Death always takes the very best
Adieu Sweet Prince, good night
Angels will join him in his last flight
Welcome to Heaven where immortals are
His Soul had replaced the brightest Star
His heart adorned with love and joy combined
He left the pain and misery behind
Flowers covered the cold place
Where he lay adorned with heavenly grace

Goddess of Death

Are you the Devil burrowing into my dreams
Are you the Seductress breaking my heart at the seams
Are you the wine dissolving sweetly into my blood
Turning my passion into a raging flood
My lust for you is an addiction to the sublime
I cannot express into either words or rhyme
An ecstasy when your sweet lips touched mine
A prophecy that emanated from doom or divine
You sealed my fate with a kiss a whisper still I
surrender to you and lose my heart and will
Your breasts intoxicating as strongest wine
To your lustful thighs  I long and pine
Whisper your name softly my sweet concubine
I Spill my blood to color your majestic shrine
At last I can say your name without fear
The pain it brings is sweet yet so severe
You are Goddess of Death; I am your Slave
To be in love with you is foolish yet brave
Yet with every breath I call your name
You respond in kind and at last make your claim

Encounter with Death

No shadows danced around my campfire
No candles were lit, no celestial choir
Trumpets were silent as a lonely grave
Drums muffled the march of the brave
I stood staring at the pallor of your face
There was no malevolence, there was no grace
Only hunger to consume my wretched soul
My breath utterly under your sweet control
You whispered, you moaned softly in my ear
In a soft kiss while you plunged your spear
Into my heart mocking my labored breath
You said with triumph: My name is Death

Atonement

Adrift in the majestic turbulent sea
Waves raging like thunder, rained on me
The tide swept me in distant eerie song
Summoned me to sail to where I belong
Drifting far away from the craggy shore
The Beast inside me rage and roar
A mountain rose like an altar in sight
Beneath the clouds bathed in light
Was it Flames raging on its lofty peak?
Consuming me in the havoc it will wreak
Glowing embers around me sprouted flame
I heard her ethereal voice call my name
From the shadows I heard a mournful moan
I walked through darkness that chilled my bone
My heart quivers, in my soul struggles loom
Threatened by shadow of imminent doom
Darkness swallows me, a heart of stone
Beckons me for my earthly sins to atone
At her altar I lie naked and shed my blood
My Heart will burst like a pent-up a flood

If I die tonight

If I die tonight
Adorned by Heaven’s flickering lights
When the Angels call me home
Wherever my spirits will roam
Don’t let your tears fall
I will be far away from it all
If I die tonight
On my tombstone I will alight
When the Angels begin to sing
My hands will turn into wings
I will soar high above the clouds
Rip apart my encompassing shrouds
I will emerge a god in a crimson light
A dragon slain by a mighty knight
A tide that swept you off your feet
A gentle breeze every time we meet
But when I will die tonight,
My heart extinguished in wretched plight
My journey is at last complete
It is just the End, bitter and Sweet
