Death with Dignity

Romeo (Maxwell)
Ions had passed since the day we met
Though it was only a yesterday
The candle I lit has not extinguished yet
Though the wind had blown it away
My flames flicker ever weaker apart
From your sweet loving embrace
My soul longs to blissfully depart
Roaming around planets and space
To catch a Star that shined afar
To make the world in love with night
When you cut my heart into little stars
To adorn the face of heaven so bright
When I shall die, the garish sun
Will be jealous of my heavenly glow
You vowed that I am the only one
Your heart had worshiped ions ago
Love me still though am now a Star
Dead and buried in sweet scented Earth
My heart carried a million scar
The torment of your love was worth
The End was destined at my own hands
Freely I accept my fateful choice
I did what my dignity commands
Your objections will not silence my Voice
I chose to leave mortality behind
And soar high with angels divine
To my shattered heart to be kind
Free my soul from this feeble shrine
