Fearless
Rogue curls of gold,
Unfurl on my face, bold
The sun's kiss, warm embrace,
On pale cheeks with no trace
Tendrils of pain behind,
Arrows aimed at my heart, unkind.
Death stole my last breath's grace,
I became a ghost, in this space
Fearless, I soared on high,
Above the clouds, in the sky.
Dreamless nights, I'll shun,
Defying the blazing sun.
Riding its beams, I fly,
Defying seas, I won't deny.
Wrestling waves, mountains tall,
Nesting in peaks, I stand tall.
Defying fate, I'm free to try,
Choose my own destiny, no lie.
The Beast lies still in gloom,
Silence heavy as a tomb.
Mirage o'er the barren sea,
Glimmer of tears, destiny.
No end to death's relentless bloom,
Phantom hourglass, setting doom.
Black wisps unfurl, aspire,
Smokeless fire, burning desire.
Sphere of light, swallowed whole,
Wounds full of love, my soul's role.
And when the skies begin to fall,
Crucified, I stand, fearless, enthralled.
