Watery Cage

 Watery Cage

In skies so high, my helicopter did soar,

Above the mountains and oceans, it did roar.

My wings of steel could not generate lift

My soaring craft went totally adrift

In icy waters, 'midst the storm's fierce rage,

We ditched, trapped in a watery cage.

Pilot and crew, our fate unknown to behold,

Our spirits soared, like eagles in stories of old.

From metal to feathers, transformation took flight,

We rose from the waves, into the cold, endless night.

Majestic and free, our souls in the sky,

As eagles, we soared, where the heavens lie.

No longer bound by earthly cares or despair,

We glided on winds through the crisp, frozen air.

With wings outstretched wide, we embraced the unknown,

Our hearts beat as one in this heavenly zone.

In the realm of the eagles, we found our new home,

No fear of the ocean, no need further to roam.

Together we danced on the winds' gentle breath,

A crew turned to eagles, in the realm of death.

The sky, bestowed her grandeur and grace,

Among the stars, we found our celestial place.
