Defiance
In realms where spirits roam and soar,
I'll voice my rage, uncloak my roar
Why take my wings, in flight to bind,
A heart that quivers, frail, confined
Your cosmic hand, the puppeteer’s guise
Weaving fates under boundless skies
Yet fail to sense the human pain,
In life's great dance, a cruel disdain.
I'll scale the stairs to heaven's gate,
Or plunge to hells, both love and hate.
To meet you there, no fear, no wane
To claim what’s due, to break your chains
You play with lives as toys on strings
You fail to grasp the pain it brings
To you, we are but pawns to move
A chess board, our worth you disapprove
Don’t hide behind celestial doors
Or flee to hell desolate moors
I’ll challenge Fate, my will unswayed
Refuse your script, the rules remade
With courage drawn from depth unseen
I’ll stand before you, pure and keen
My heart is forged from steel and flame
I’m tired of playing your petty game
For my own destiny, I hold the key
While you shrink, your realms debris
My fiery wings stretched, unfurled
Behold the Human shaping his New World
