Stranger in Time's Wake
A stranger adrift in life's grand parade,
Lost in shifting times, in a frozen glade
Through tides of time, this voyage is mine,
Awakening to a realm that's lost its shine.
From chivalrous realms, valor's cherished space,
To this callous era, devoid of grace,
Where morals crumble, virtues slain
Spiritual echoes fade, in society's disdain
Once, a realm of honor, love's romantic sphere,
Now greed's stage, morals not so clear,
Material wealth dims the soul's bright rise,
Humanity's essence, lost beneath disguise.
I pine for days of yore, a yearning quest
Where valor thrived, and hearts did their best
An age of gallant deeds, a fleeting gaze,
In this bleak epoch, a longing blaze.
Oh, to return where time's path did bend,
To reclaim lost morals, and souls to mend.
Yet fate holds fast in this relentless decree
A stranger yearning for the world that used to be.
Dreams echo of an era where spirits shone bright,
To rekindle the soul, lost in the night,
Hoping, despite odds, to traverse time's domain,
Reclaiming destiny in its noble reign
