Captain of the Sky
I waltz with winds, through storms that swarm,
My eerie rests on icy peaks, yet keeps me warm.
With talons keen, swift in flight
My hunting prowess, a skilled, relentless rite.
In boundless skies, I soar, I roam,
Guardian of heavens, where I find my home.
My wings, a canvas of tales sewn
In solitude, I always hunt alone
Majesty, beauty, prowess entwined,
In endless skies, my spirit unconfined.
Feathers paint a tale, both bold and grand,
A masterpiece, painted by nature’s hand
Eyes piercing the earth's wide embrace,
In every dive, a masterful chase.
Each flight a stroke of mastery's light,
Upon the canvas of infinite height.
Yet not always solitary I reign,
My nest, I guard, a cherished domain.
My fledglings dear, my dreams take flight,
Beneath my wings, to seek their height.
I teach and shield, preparing them for life’s quest
Their downy warmth, beneath my chest.
To spread their wings, as once I knew,
Embrace the world, brave and true.
Emblem of freedom's call, that I be,
Sentinel in skies, wild and forever free.
Winds, my comrades, clouds, my guide,
In their embrace, my soaring stride.
Majestic hunter, reigning in skies wide
Guardian of my realm, with noble pride
For in my heart, within the sky's expanse,
I am the Eagle, in freedom's dance.
Till time bids adieu, I say goodbye
Till then, I am Captain of the Sky
