Herald of the Gods

 Herald of the Gods

Hermes, the herald of gods divine,

Swift messenger, realms to align,

A guide through skies, an ancient role,

In modern times, a pilot's soul.

His caduceus, a symbol profound,

Woven through time's enduring sound,

A staff bridging worlds, a cosmic art,

Echoed in flights where pilots start.

He soars the heavens, fleet and sure,

Delivering words, both clear and obscure,

Navigating winds with masterful grace,

Like pilots charting paths through space.

The skies, his canvas, boundless span,

Traversing realms, from land to land,

When planes ascend, through azure hue,

Hermes’s spirit comes into view.

A communicator in divine accord,

Conveying messages, a sacred word,

In radio's echoes, or a silent hum

Guiding pilots when their call does come.

Through clouds and storms, where perils lay,

Hermes’s essence lights the way,

As pilots guide their metal steeds,

Ensuring safe and steadfast speeds.

In rhythm with Hermes, they take flight,

Navigating realms both day and night,

Bridging distances, like gods of old,

Their mission: safe passage, tales untold.

So, Hermes, guide of ancient lore,

In pilots' hearts, your essence does soar,

Traversing the skies with spirit high,

Bearing messages, 'neath azure sky.

Above, where dreams in flight take part,

Hermes's spirit gleams, a guiding heart,

A pilot's journey, a modern ode,

To Hermes, messenger on paths untrode.
