The Tide
Part 1
Four decades of sorrow and cruel fate
His shattered heart bore the heaviest weight
Mapped out his years, his joy overthrown
The surging tide, a pulse mimicking his own
In fading light, along the shore he roamed,
Embraced by echoes, a soul, burdened, stormed
His gaze traced the tide, its ebb and flow,
A mirror to his heart's uncertain throe.
Amidst the hushed waves he sought respite
To bid adieu to his ceaseless fight
Within the arms of the endless deep
He sought solace, sweet and steep
In murmurs of surf and salt-kissed air,
His spirit unshackled, freed from despair.
Life's trials and woes, his weary soul shed,
In the ocean's embrace, he found peace instead.
The Tide
Part 2
His heart beats in tandem with the waves,
The air in his lungs, he craves.
With every gasp, his lungs expand,
Finding sea legs, a ghostly stand.
He feels the waves caress his face,
Foam crowning him with love’s embrace.
Sorrows gone, one with the Tide,
He wonders if he truly died.
In awe, he swims amidst ancient wrecks,
Their stories trapped in the ocean’s hex.
Whispers of bygone souls fill the sea,
Their haunting presence, a spectral spree.
A ghost among ghosts, now he stands,
Unearthly tides, his new commands.
His heart not weighed by mortal despair,
Tethered to the ocean's cryptic lair.
Orcas dance in ethereal light,
Guiding through the aqueous night.
Treasures gleam beneath the ocean’s veil,
Lost allure in this spectral tale.
Yet among this spectral band,
He finds kinship in this ghostly land.
No longing lingers for the world above,
No mortal ties, nor lost love.
The ocean’s depths hold secrets untold,
A world of spirits, a realm of old.
His ghostly form embraced by the sea,
A story of the ocean, wild and free.
Tide
Part 3
In death's embrace, eternity's hold,
Yet each dawn a new tale unfolds.
Time, a fluid notion in this abyss,
Days blend in spectral, eternal bliss.
Each moment a chapter, a story untold,
In the depths where mysteries unfold.
Ghosts dance with the ocean's embrace,
Living each day in an endless chase.
No ticking clocks, no fading light,
Just echoes of past, fading from sight.
Eternity wrapped in spectral hue,
Each dawn bringing something new.
An adventure in every spectral dawn,
In this world where time is drawn
As whispers in the ocean's swell,
An eternal tale, they live to tell.
Every day, a fresh, unearthly sight,
In this world of perpetual night.
Time, an enigma in this ethereal plane,
A paradox where past and present reign.
His tole, he embraces as guardian of the sea
Eternally bound, to Fate’s cruel decree
Tide
Part 4
A crash echoed through the spectral seas,
A plane's demise, caught in fate's decrees.
His family, in peril, he knew their plight,
Yet bound by laws beyond mortal sight.
Torn between roles, a guardian sworn,
And a family’s safety, battered and worn.
His heart ached as their cries filled the air,
A guardian's vow, his soul in despair
With each plea that reached his spectral ears,
His resolve crumbled, clouded by fears.
The call of duty clashed with love's plea,
A guardian's dilemma, a heart at sea.
He watched, helpless, as the waters churned,
The crash site marked where destinies turned.
His family's fate hung in spectral space,
A guardian's torment, a solemn embrace.
Bound by laws of the ethereal plane,
He bore the weight of an agonizing strain.
To uphold his oath, his family bereft,
A choice that haunted, nothing left.
In the realm where time knows no end,
His heart, a guardian, he must defend.
Despite the tears that clouded his eyes,
His shattered heart dissolved into sighs
He remained faithful to his oath
Guardian of the sea and the skies both
Tide
Part 5
---
Regret clung to him like the ocean's mist,
A weight heavier than the sorrow he'd kissed.
Attempts to bridge the spectral plane's divide,
His family's presence, a torment inside.
Their spectral forms, a reminder stark,
Of the choice that tore his soul apart.
Their eyes held a pain he couldn't assuage,
Forgiveness lost in this spectral stage.
He reached out, arms yearning to embrace,
But spectral rules held them in place.
A family united in the ethereal realm,
Yet hearts divided, caught in a helm.
His attempts to mend, a futile endeavor,
Their spectral silence spoke of forever.
Regret consumed him, a haunting mire,
His family's presence, a trial by fire.
In this realm where time knows no bounds,
Their bond fractured by decisions unbound.
A guardian’s choice, a family's divide,
Spectral whispers of love denied
No escape for a soul that shattered
If he could mend their lives, that’s what mattered
He made a deal with the cosmic powers
To restore his family, to life this hour
In exchange he gave his greatest possession
His heart, his mind, his discretion
He dissolved into foam, roaming the sea
With no beating heart and no memory
