Silver Eagle
Part 2
The Silver Eagle, soared bold and free,
Above the clouds, in dreams of fantasy
The boy once dreamed, longing to fly
Hover with the wind, embrace the sky
In words penned young, ‘ere the sudden fall
Imagining future, the air force call
High amidst the heavens, a burning throne
Destiney awaited to claim my own.
The winds of fate, they shifted, unforeseen,
A heart's abrupt arrest, at death scene
No thundering Eagle’s scream
Nightmare clad as a beautiful dream
Of silence, where a heart lost his beat
Reviving it was not an easy feat
Grounded, yet soaring in a different light,
The Eagle's wings clipped, a divergent flight.
Fate intervened, it dealt an unexpected hand
A destiny altered, to chaos shifting sands
Dreams were crushed and my soul shattered
With the gust of the scorching wind scattered
The flaming orb shines no more
A deathly throne, that I abhor
I flew to the Sun and burnt my wing
I’m no longer a pilot, no longer King
No more let life divide, but intertwine,
What Death and life together shall define.
The Eagle's cry within, though altered course,
Still echoes dreams, resounding with its force.
